Official vacancy wording, the Iberia employment portal, FTEJerez instructions, invitation emails, document requests, test-provider notices, simulator briefings, and recruiter communications are authoritative and take priority. PASS is a third-party commercial provider and is not affiliated with Iberia.

Quick verdict

PASS may be useful when an Iberia candidate has confirmed aptitude, ATPL, aviation-English, interview, or simulator stages and wants one browser-based practice library. The current PASS Iberia page lists an ATPL test, aviation English, AON aptitude and reasoning, a personal interview, and simulator assessment, with additional Airbus technical practice.

The principal risk is buying against the provider’s stage list before identifying the correct Iberia route. A cadet applicant entering FTEJerez selection has a different background, financial decision, and training pathway from a qualified pilot responding to a direct airline vacancy. Even two direct-entry campaigns can differ by fleet, experience, language, and current operational need.

Recommendation: identify the live programme and save the controlling documents before purchasing anything. Use official samples first. Select PASS only for modules that are confirmed or that address a genuine foundational weakness.

Separate the Iberia pathways first

Iberia Cadet Programme with FTEJerez

Iberia announced the sixth edition of its cadet programme in February 2026. The programme was aimed at people without previous pilot experience and combined selection, training at FTEJerez, partial interest-free financing by Iberia, and continuing monitoring of cadet progress. The published 2026 application window closed in March, so it must not be described as permanently open.

The official announcement set academic, nationality or work-right, criminal-record, language, and other eligibility conditions. A future edition may change dates, intake size, education rules, financing, or selection stages. Candidates should use the current Iberia and FTEJerez documents rather than archived programme descriptions.

Qualified and entry-level pilot recruitment

Iberia’s July 2025 recruitment notice targeted pilots with at least 500 hours on CS-25-certified aircraft or equivalent, frozen EASA ATPL and MCC, Class 1 medical, English Level 4, Spanish Level 5, EU work rights, and other conditions. Preselected candidates were to receive assessment date, time, place, and documentation instructions by email.

That notice confirms staged group selection but does not publish a permanent item-by-item assessment battery. It therefore supports preparing documents, languages, technical knowledge, and competency evidence, but it does not justify assuming that every PASS module appears in every Iberia campaign.

What PASS currently describes

The public PASS Iberia page currently lists:

Record whether you are applying to Cadetes Iberia, a new-entry pilot vacancy, a type-rated role, or another Iberia Group opportunity. For each claimed stage, note the source, publication date, vacancy title, deadline, assessment provider, location, required documents, and whether the information came from Iberia, FTEJerez, PASS, or an informal report.

Prepare eligibility and documents before timed tests

A technically strong applicant can still fail screening through an expired medical, incomplete licence conversion, missing language certificate, inaccurate flight-hour evidence, or misunderstood work-right requirement. Assemble the requested licence, medical, passport, criminal-record, education, language, and logbook records exactly as instructed.

Use AON practice only when it matches the invitation

If Iberia names AON or Cut-E, practise the confirmed task families under realistic timing and device conditions. Useful transferable skills include numerical processing, verbal comprehension, attention, monitoring, spatial reasoning, working memory, and accurate rule application. Do not infer proprietary test names from a commercial page alone.

Revise ATPL and fleet knowledge proportionately

Qualified-pilot applicants should revise core ATPL subjects, operational decision-making, performance, meteorology, flight planning, regulations, human factors, and current type knowledge. Cadet applicants should not imitate the depth expected from an experienced Airbus pilot unless their own instructions require it.

Prepare aviation English and Spanish naturally

Practise explaining weather, operational decisions, abnormal situations, CRM, and professional experience clearly. For direct-entry routes requiring Spanish and English, prepare authentic examples in both languages at the level specified by the vacancy. Avoid memorised scripts that collapse under follow-up questions.

Prepare competency examples

Build concise examples covering safety, teamwork, communication, leadership, learning, resilience, conflict, workload, judgement, and accountability. Each example should state the context, your responsibility, your actions, the result, and what you learned.

Confirm simulator scope before paying for sessions

Ask whether the simulator is type-specific, raw-data, fixed-base, full-flight, crewed, or individual. Confirm aircraft, departure, approach, expected callouts, automation policy, and whether technical failures are included. Generic practice may help scan and CRM, but poorly matched sessions can create unhelpful habits.

Decision framework for buying preparation

Choose a targeted Iberia course when the live invitation materially overlaps with the published modules and you need repeated timed practice, structured technical revision, or interview support. Choose a broad course only when the provider is not yet confirmed and the subscription remains useful for general aptitude, mathematics, aviation English, ATPL, and interview work.

Delay purchase when the application is not open, eligibility is uncertain, the assessment provider is unknown, or the main gap is documentation rather than test skill. A simulator session should be the last purchase, not the first, because its value depends on exact briefing information.

Common preparation mistakes

  • combining the cadet and qualified-pilot pathways;
  • treating the July 2025 vacancy as a permanent 2026 process;
  • assuming AON appears because PASS lists it;
  • neglecting Spanish while over-practising generic English questions;

Iberia may change recruitment needs, eligibility thresholds, test providers, stage order, language requirements, fleet allocation, cadet financing, and application windows. Public notices do not disclose every scoring rule or exercise. PASS can also update its course outline independently.
